Our Last Months In NY!

My friend Melanie had a dress up party for the little girls in our ward at her house. It was so much fun for the girls. I painted all their nails, put glitter on their faces, lipgloss and Hanna Montana perfume of course!

Easter baskets. Every Easter I think of my Grandma Bowen singing "This is my Easter bonnet, with all the flowers on it." Pierson didn't have on a bonnet, or anything else for that matter.

When Chels and my mom came to visit we went to my old stomping grounds and had chicken and a waffle and greens at Sylvia's diner in Harlem, then visited our old park that was right by our old apt.

Family photo opp in the tulips. I will forever think of the lady who chewed out my mom who was sitting way on the other end of park. She told how how we were such liberal parents because we were allowing our kids to pick the flowers (which we were not). Kids don't listen very well and once a flowers picked, not much you can do. I won't miss everyone getting into our business here in the city. Every body thinks for some reason that they are en tiled to tell other grown ups how to live their lives and raise their kids here in the city. It's an odd thing but definitely will not be missed!

Aren't NY parks cool. I will miss that they are all a rubber top and don't have sand but won't miss that there usually is hardly any grass!

Averie loves to take pictures of me. If I didn't have her I wouldn't have any pictures of myself because Bryce despises taking photos for some reason. We were out at the park with our friends Mel and Trav.

Averie likes to dress herself most days. Nobody else in NY tries to hard to look good, why should we waste our time???

Pierson wants to ride the scooter so bad. He already knew how to push his foot.

Averie thinks she is Hanna Montana, Or Miley. She didn't understand what a wig was when she first started watching the show so I got out some of my old extensions to show her what fake hair was. She was hooked. She had to put in on everytime she watched the movie.

Just a few quick updates, our ward had a street fair/tag sale and we spent almost the whole day there. Had a few great buys. Books, movies an d others. The men weren't doing the best at keeping up with the grills so I inserted myself in an attempt to organize the grill better. They closed off the whole street outside of our church. It was pretty impressive. Only in new york (and that's a positive only in NY, usually that comes with a negative connotation). This was a little while ago, Just Bryce chillin out in the streets of Times Square after a fun dinner with friends!

Averie's last day of school for the year. It was so great. I was so upset though because I forgot my camera, both of them. The kids put on the cutest program. This woman named Madame R comes every week and plays the piano and sings with the kids. I had never seen her or heard any of the songs before that they sang so it was a blast to see Averie perform. This is her and her best pal Jack. Still waiting on more photos! I had some in my phone, but that got stolen! BOO!

This was in Utah. I made a quick little last minute trip with just me and Pierson. This is my brothers, new Dog Rocco. He's a cute little bugger!
