SURPRISE!!!

SURPRISE, I am home now and looking a little different than the last time I saw everyone. I am 14 weeks pregnant and couldn't wait to surprise my family. Only problem was nobody dared to ask me if I was pregnant just in case I just was really fat. I thought it was simply obvious but apparently I've been "just fat" before so no one asked although they all knew. I was home for 4 days before anyone finally said " we know your secret"!!!!!!HAHAHA does it look like a secret to you??? SO here is me and my sister and sister in law who are both pregnant as well. Chelsey and I are only 2 weeks apart so that is exciting. I am having the baby here since my due date is December 30th. It will be nice to actually have a a baby in Utah where I can be by my family. (Sorry to those of you I lied to that asked me if I was pregnant yet, If I am going to keep a secret , I can't tell anyone or then I start telling everyone!)
Bryce is already in California and says it is PARADISE. He says we ARE NOT going to want to move back to NY by the end of the summer. There is the most beautiful beach he has ever seen barely a mile from our apartment, 3 pools on the grounds, a park and a gym, his work is barely 1-2 miles from the apartment and the church and temple are around the corner from the apartment as well. All while being able to drive a car for once!!!! Talk about going from the most difficult, inconvenient life style in the city to a life of ease and convenience, not to mention paradisaical. So I am here until the 17th so call me and well hang out. Love the Waters
P.S. Averie is in heaven with all the cousins, friends, aunts and uncles, grandma and grandpas she gets to see. I may be stupid for missing out on a month in Cali for the summer but it's so worth it for her to have her best friends around everyday!

Riding the Chuckee E Cheese Rollar Coaster, getting ready for Lagoon! Utah Here we come.
Finally Smiling! Chuckee E CHesses really Brings out the kid in Bryce. Our last outing in NY for the summer!

So we FINALLY know what we are doing for the summer! !!!!YEAH. The suspence is over. Bryce got a job at Oakhill Reit Management In Newport Beach California! That's right......West Coast here we come! It is going to be so nice to get out of here for a while. What a huge change. I can't find a pool here in the city and now we'll be living right by a pool, just a mile from the beach!! It came really fast and so all of our plans changed (not that we had alot) but my trip to Utah has changed dramatically. I will be home on Tuesday and Bryce actually gets to come with me for a couple of days. He starts work on the 23rd so he is coming to Utah to get a car and driving out to Cali on Saturday. I will join him on the 17th of July but I will still get to be in Utah for a month. Averie is SOOO excited to see all her cousins and family. We are excited to see all of our friends too. We will head back here to NY the first week of Sept. I just want to say out loud how grateful I am for the enduring faith that I have been blessed with to get me through this time of wonder. I am so thankful for my testimony and for my Heavenly Father who ALWAYS, with out end shows up for me (and my family) when the road seems it's about to end. Then the road is paved and such an easy and cleared path is made for us. He's also there for us through out the process, comforting us with the faith that he DOES have a plan for us and if we trust in him, things will workout. That may sound a little too optimistic but that's how it's been for us. I know there are always trials, but we are so thankful for the blessings we continually recieve. Thanks for all your love support, kind words along the way. Can't wait to see you all... 3 days left in NYC and counting!!!! YEAH

My friend Brook took these pictures of us a few weeks ago before they moved. I would have put them up with the other post but I just got them back. Sorry to post so many but I just couldn't pick because they all turned out so great. The boy is Averies best bud Thomas. They were great friends and we were devistated when they moved. Brooke and I were saying hepefully they will get married because we already have a good portion of their engagement pictures out of the way! HAHAHA! Most of them are in Riverside park but the tulips are just up the street from our house in the middle of Broadway. Averie really did just sit there and kiss the flowers with no direction. It was so great. I hope you enjoy them. For the family.... if you want any prints let me know and I can send you the shutterfly link! Love The Waters
Here is the link that has all the pictures we took that day if the fam wants to order any!

Bryce's Parents came to visit us the week after school got out. We went to DC as soon as they got here. It was a nice break from the city and it was nice to get to ride in a car for once. It was so green and my favorite part was that it didn't smell like anything there. In NY, wether good or bad, it always smells like something. Sewers, fresh roasted nuts, hotdogs, chicken, coffe, pollution. Some smells good but I just get so sick of never getting a breath of fresh clean air.
We went to a few of the Smithsonian Museums, The war and presidential monuments and memorials, and the white house. My favorite part, silly to say, was a german resteraunt that we ate at. I haven't eaten out German food for as long as I can remember. We came back to NY and we went and saw Young Frankenstien on Broadway starring Megan Mulally from Will and Grace. It was hillarious but a little racy. It was very good though, up there with the best of them. I hope we didn't ware Bryce's parents out though, between DC and the touring in NY we did ALOT of walking which we are used to but for parents who drive cars I'm sure it was something fierce. It was so good to have family come see us though and Averie enjoyed the company more than anyone I'm sure. Hope we find everyone else doing well. Our summer plans are still unsure. That's life for Waters though. Have a lovely Summer!

I am throwing a shower for one of my good friends here this saturday and NY doesn't know what scrapbooking or crafting is so I had to have my sister find paper in Utah and ship to me to make the invites. I know it doesn't really look like a baby shower invite but thats the colors for her Nursery. I was so excited to make them though. I always like playing with my artsy side, the opportunities are few and far between here.
This is a Jazz band playing in Central Park last week by Sheep Meadows. They looked about 15 or 16 and they were REALLY GOOD. It was such a fun day. We met some people in Bryces cluster for lunch in the park. It was a beatiful day and Averie had a ball especially since she finally got to spend some time with dad.

Thats the Empire State Building behind us. It's kind of weird that part of a daily routine can include passing by such famous tourist sights.

It was so crazy how many people were at the park. And they are all locals because tourists don't take blankets and books and lay in the park all day. There were more people just lounging around Sheeps Meadow than I see at the park on the 4th of July at the parade or fair in Layton. It's unbelieveable how many people actually live on this stinking island. But we had an amazing time. Look at the crowd behind me. REDICULOUS!

PLEASE IGNORE ME IN THE PICTURES.....These are pictures from Averies Musicgarten class. We has our last class last Thursday and Averie actually sang the whole goodbuy song at the end of the class. I wanted to cry because the Teacher is moving to DC and she is a good friend. Averie would be depressed if she could only comprehend how much her life is going to change over the summer. Her two best boys are moving, her music teacher...GONE, starting preschool 3 days a week in the fall, daddy going to school, amongst many other changes to come. Word to the wise, don't make new friends that you LOVE....they just move away anyway. Then you just have to make new ones all over.
